HOOK
Go to work
work it work it
hurt like bastard child
it's all worth it
sure it is
everybody's running for the master race
all I ever want to do is just burn this place down
Go to work
work it work it
hurt like bastard child
it's all worth it
sure it is
everybody's running for the master race
all I ever want to do is just burn this place down
Verse One (Nick Bambrough)
Everybody working' in an office space
gather round the water cooler talking place
we'z about to start some gossip
on this chase to manhattan nazdx awful race
Caught up in the numbers, 2 weeks in the summer
ya get to vac in the south, rich guy slumber
back to work and it hurts like a crotch shot
talk shop with peers to show that ya give a fuck
run a muck when it comes to the weekends
bleed out the booze from your pours till it seeps in
that your stuck in a 9 to 5
while I'm out here rocking mics, doing a stage dive
get live, when we rock the place
now get high astronaut in space
wave your hands if your feeling the vibe
better here then a motha fucking office space

Verse Two (D-Sisive)
YO
Sleep walking I'm a zombie
Feet stomping on the concret
god please not another mondy on the subway
full time for a slum wage in a neck tie for chump change
a sandwich with suranwrap a banana and a snak pack
in my nap sack
billy madison avenue never
a slave for that minimum wage forever
my boss telling me to step it up
and his words make me want to load a weapon up
unload, and open his temple up
leave a red dot like a seven up
they misspelt my name at the second cup
I bet their more respected than I ever was
no future a losser in a quibickle going no where
trapped in the truman show
Fuck!

YO
Do work is my motto
you suroundge in my lotto's
wishing' on a ticket for the lotto's
Soon enough learned nothing happens on auto
pilot, can't get a pilot over auto
work like pilates in the condo
constantly hotties from the work follow
rhyme for the women
no limit to a grime, as a lime to the lemmon
and I'm swimming in the shine
on crazy diming
I'm one hazy, crazy rhyming machine
jeans pressed and cleaned
impress the scene I'm kareeme sareene
no boss coming to intervene
ya stuck with one I send sympathy
no car lease no rental fees
I'm so fresh and clean I'm winter green

Belleville, On - Nick Bambrough has just released a new record single with three time Juno winner Moka Only, and Juno Nominee D-Sisive.
The track ‘Go To Work’ is about the everyday struggles working people go through, trying to make their boss and client happy. It reflects some of the stresses during typical 9-5’s and the unpleasant emotions and backlash it can cause.
Multiplatinum plaque holder, Moka Only talks a good talk about not having to work a 9-5 job, and to follow your passions. After a very successful 20 year rap career, Moka’s verse centers on his passion for his craft and being his own boss. Juno Nominee, D-Sisive graces this track with a solid flow, giving higher emphasis on the thoughts one may have when dealing with a monotonous work week.
Born in Belleville Ontario, Nick Bambrough has spent a very successful 12 year career as recording artist, and music industry executive. Nick is no stranger to the demands and uncomfortable stresses a regular job can bring.
‘Go to work’ is a wonderful collaboration of three fantastic artists, with a catchy beat and lyrics the everyday person can relate to.

It's fresh and funky like the song goes, real futuristic type flow that you don't hear much these days, with that old school east coast rugged flavour that makes you feel good inside! Matthew Haile
